Peepzshow
People. Faces. Encounters.
Years of photographing them eventually turned into "Peepzshow" a book about the
people and moments I came across along the way.
To celebrate the release, Peepzshow stepped out of the book and onto the walls of
ZIMIHC Bouwstraat in Utrecht.
This exhibition and book release came to life thanks to ZIMIHC and Kunstgras,
with Juan making the connection and helping turn the idea into reality.
The photographs came off the screen and into the real world.
And people showed up, lots of them.
Friends, familiar faces, strangers, people who recognised someone they knew, and
people simply curious to discover the faces and stories behind the photographs.
The opening was a huge success, with a great turnout and a room full of
conversations, encounters and people connecting with the work.
And right there, surrounded by the photographs and the people who inspired them,
was the book itself.
Visitors could pick up a copy and take a little piece of Peepzshow home with them.
